Madhusmita Devi is from Assam and is currently pursuing an MA in Social Work (Public Health) at TISS, Mumbai. She is passionate about exploring the intersections of health, gender, and culture. Apart from what you can find on her LinkedIn profile, she indulges in food, travel, and spending a lot of time chatting with her friends.

Mainu Teronpi is an Assistant Professor in the Department of English at Chandra Kamal Bezbaruah College, Teok, Jorhat. She hails from the colour town of Diphu, Karbi Anglong, Assam, she is a cinephile and poet and has worked as a voiceover artist in two documentary films. She has also published chapters in national and international publications. When she’s not writing, she enjoys painting, embroidery, and diving into a good book.

Rubina Karki grew up in the lush greenery of Ilam, Nepal, with roots in her village, Jeetpur, where she spent most of her childhood immersed in the calming simplicity of life, surrounded by dense alder trees and tea gardens. She holds a Bachelor's in Environmental Science and a Master’s in Disaster Management. Throughout her academic and professional career, she has developed a keen interest in understanding the impact of climate change on vulnerable communities and finding sustainable solutions to mitigate its effects.

Sabbu is an indigenous-diaspora writer navigating life between the UK and Nepal. With a background in literature, her interest has gradually shifted to narratives that exist outside the written system, placing aural traditions rooted in indigenous practices at the forefront. She is particularly drawn to stories of displacement and the tales we carry with us, questioning how and why we form memories through auditory and sensory experiences of lands we lose attachment to.

Sajad Hameed is a journalist and filmmaker based in India, focusing on environmental issues, conflict, and social justice. His work explores the intersection of politics, human rights, and environmental change in South Asia.

Qazi Shibli is an award-winning Kashmiri journalist covering politics, the environment, social justice, and human rights in South Asia.
